About

Who am I?

I’m an award-winning writer of short fiction and poetry who is passionate about education, editing, and all things books. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence and a Master’s degree in Victorian Literature from Oxford.

After completing my Master’s, I began mentoring writers as a developmental editor and writing coach. In total, I’ve supported over 100 writers at every stage of the writing process. When I’m not reading manuscripts, I can be found helping middle school students with reading comprehension or copywriting for B2B tech brands.

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, hiking, doing yoga, collaging, photographing old books, and curling up on the sofa with my sweet black cat.

When You’re Drafting

Let’s dive in! During the drafting stage, I offer compassionate support and illuminating feedback as you put pen to page and embark on the journey of bringing your ideas to life.

Once You’ve Got a Draft

Give yourself a pat on the back! Finishing a draft is a huge step. I offer full manuscript reviews to help you bring your book to the next level.

When You’re Editing

The book’s done. Now what? During the editing stage, I’ll help you brainstorm how to revise your book and provide encouraging feedback along the way to help you cross that final finish line.

My Approach

My approach to working with writers draws from the writing workshop environment. I’m a collaborative and caring listener whose top priority is helping each individual with what they need, when they need it. I always bring creativity, respectfulness, flexibility, and patience to the table.
